About me
John Curtis was named Senior Vice President, Global Offerings and North American Direct Leasing Sales for Xerox Financial Services in February 2022. As a key strategy leader, John is responsible for enabling progressive financing offerings and leasing initiatives as well as leading leasing sales programs for US & Canadian Direct, XBS, Agent Partners, and Production solutions. John has extensive experience across aspects of selling and leasing programs, revenue generation and marketing promotions, CRM, customer retention campaigns, accounting, and financial management.
John has served as a Xerox | GALAXe LGBTQ Diversity Employee Resource Group leader and champion of diversity for more than 25 years. He was named to the Rochester Business Journal’s Power List of LGBTQ Leaders in 2023 & 2024, was selected by Out & Equal Workplace Advocates as OUTstanding LGBTQ+ Champion in 2017 and honored by New York’s Empire State Pride Agenda as one of 25 LGBT Community Champions.
He is actively engaged in his community and is stretching his Recharge Day performing in the musical, Kinky Boots! John has delivered TEDTalks workshops, “SuperHeroes Need Sidekicks: The Power of Allies” in cities around the U.S and Canada and was featured on NPR StoryCorps and in an LGBT documentary “Shoulders to Stand On”.
John served in the United States Air Force and studies in Marketing and Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology. He also holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
