About me
Flor M. Colón was named chief legal officer and corporate secretary, effective January 2024. In this role, Flor is responsible for Legal, Ethics & Compliance, and Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability.
Flor joined Xerox in March 1999 and has held various positions in the legal department. Most recently, Flor served as deputy general counsel, corporate secretary and chief ethics officer, and was responsible for day-to-day oversight and management of legal support for various functions, including litigation, executive compensation, benefits and employment matters, ensuring the company’s compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, legal entity management, and corporate governance support to the Board of Directors. She previously led Xerox legal teams throughout the world. During her tenure, she has worked on strategic, corporate-wide projects and led significant cross-functional workstreams.
Flor serves on the boards of ESL Credit Union, Rochester Area Community Foundation, and Monroe Community College Foundation. She has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including Young Women’s College Prep Charter School of Rochester, Greater Rochester Enterprise, JustCause and United Way of Greater Rochester.
Flor is also the executive sponsor of GALAXe, one of Xerox’s ten Employee Resource Groups.
Flor earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pace University and a law degree from Brooklyn Law School.
