The glass cliff refers to the tendency for women and underrepresented people in STEM to be given leadership roles during times of crisis or uncertainty. While these roles can be challenging, they also offer unique opportunities for growth and advancement. During this session, I will share my insights on how to navigate the glass cliff and use it to your advantage. You'll learn strategies for advocating for yourself and your career goals, and you'll discover ways to leverage your unique perspective and skills to achieve success in a leadership role. This session is designed for underrepresented women and men in STEM professionals of all levels who are looking to advance in their careers and make a positive impact in their organizations
